Our Kindergarten provides education for children (KG - 1 & 2)

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions offered in KG-1 and KG-2, subject to the availability of seats and eligibility.

The process of application for admission will be as follows:

• PRE-REGISTRATION: Parents/ authorized guardians may register their child in advance by completing the application form.
• Application Forms are available online (www.northstarqatar.com- Admissions Register Now) - Hard copy of Admissions packet (available at school office during working hours) contains – brochure including application form, admission process, fee structure and fee policy.
• In order to secure a seat, parents/authorized guardians will be required to pay the Registration, Admission Fees and one instalment of the Annual Tuition Fee within 2 weeks from the date that the offer of admission is made. Failure to do so may result in the seat being offered to another student.
• Interaction between students, and parents/authorized guardians and an Admissions Panel.
• PLACEMENT / EVALUATION OF STUDENTS: Placement test (where relevant) will be conducted appropriate to the grade in which admission is being sought.

Indian Stream with International Standards.

North Star students will be able to secure admission in CBSE and other International Streams for their continued education.

Academic and curricular activities are under the supervision of by Head of KG and KG Coordinator holding distinguished and credible experience in the field of education. Under their able guidance and leadership, North Star campus at Al Khor will grow from strength to strength with proven results by winning accolades for best quality practices and securing exemplary student achievements in both, academics and co-curricular activities.

As a forward thinking, academic-centric and international group of schools, North Star strives for securing innovativeness, effectiveness and practicality in its curriculum; supported by a wide range of extra and co-curricular activities.

The Management, Heads of Faculty and Academic Board hold constant dialogues among themselves, parents and students to ensure that the required academic standards are met, the ‘joy of learning' is not sacrificed.

Regular meetings by the faculty and members of Academic Examination Board monitor the progress made in each department at various levels.

Intense discussions and deliberations take place to review the curriculum, methodology, suitability of the evaluation tools, performance of students in various assessments, adoption of best practices among international schools, and efficacy of the non- formal learning practices.
