Twyla Nursery

Aspiring for the educational component of the QNV2030’s development pillar, Twyla Nursery is the first-of-its-kind in Qatar, with special emphasis put on experiential and interactive learning for children. Housed in a state-of-the-art facility, this unique nursery offers a safe and secure environment for children starting from six months old up to four years.

Twyla Nursery operates under a philosophy that children need to be treated with warmth, respect, and be encouraged to reach their full potential. The children served by Twyla Nursery will receive experiences that will foster physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The atmosphere at Twyla Nursery is a caring environment to encourage independence, constructive problem solving, positive self-esteem, and improved self-worth.

Overview 

In 2008, His Highness The Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, approved the Qatar National Vision 2030. The Vision set forth four ambitiuos pillars that defined the roadmap for the country’s development for the next two decades for the ultimate goal of weaning Qatar off reliance on its rich hydrocarbon resources to become a knowledge-based economy.

Twlya Holding was established in 2013 in response to the Vision. As we wholly support and believe in the pillars of the Qatar National Vision, Twyla was set up for one purpose: to support the nation in achieving the pillars. Although every company in Qatar aspires to the same, our approach is different; for Twyla, the community comes first. Thus, all our enterprises benefit the community directly while working within the parameters of each Vision’s pillar.

Twyla Nursery is based on the pearl. We care for and educate children aged 2 months to 4 years old. We are passionate about early years education, and we provide an environment where children can explore, learn and grow.

Curriculum

At Twyla we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which focuses on the children’s learning and development within seven areas:

• Personal, social, emotional development
• Communication and Language
• Physical development
• Literacy
• Maths
• Understanding the world
• Expressive art and design
• Everything we learn is through engaging and stimulating activities designed around the children’s interests- because we know that children learn the best when they are having fun.
• At Twyla Nursery- our children climb, paint, cook, dance, read, create, dress up, make friends, and explore our local area. 
• We also offer Arabic and French classes as well as a range of afternoon activities including ballet and playball.
• Our children become confident little learners who are ready to transition to school and continue their journey of learning

Admission

• Open 6.30am to 6.00pm Sunday to Thursday
• We offer a meal plan- providing the children with fresh and healthy meals for breakfast and lunch every day.
